Who Am I?
I worked in the financial services industry for almost six years, but at the end of 2015 I decided to pivot my career, and I was offered an opportunity to work at Accenture in 2016. The offer was a perfect match for me, and I was happy to accept it.
At Accenture, I work with management consulting and try to serve our financial services industry clients with their unique issues. I expect to grow both professionally and personally as a financial services pro. My colleagues are competent and clients smart, so the learning curve is quite steep as there are methodological as well as substantive issues I need to learn. There is always someone whom I can ask for advice, someone from our global network of individuals who can complement my knowledge and skills.
Before moving to Accenture, I worked for two and a half years as the local business developer at Nordnet. I worked mainly with business analysis, innovation management, continuous improvement and service design. I was euphoric to work at Nordnet for a very long time and to work with a small team of dedicated, hard-working and incredibly talented people.
I received my master's degree in social sciences from the University of Helsinki in 2012 and a master's degree in technology governance from the Tallinn University of Technology in 2013. I have also studied customer-centric service development at Laurea University of Applied Sciences and industrial management at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
I am passionate about lean, agile, business models, Austrian and industrial economics, service science, innovation management, organizational theory, emerging technologies, educational sciences and human enhancement.
When I am not working, I have a good time with my wife Pauliina and our dachshund Kerttu. Also, I like to exercise, read non-fiction, practice some kind of modern Stoicism, learn new things and taste new whiskeys.
